GWA activities increasing in Anglophone West Africa

After the GWA Regional Strategic Planning Workshop for Anglophone West Africa, in Lagos in October 2007, GWA activities together with members and partners are increasing. The Regional Focal Point for GWA for this region is Anthony Akpan, of PAVE. Much of the work is supported by GWA Advisor for Nigeria Mrs Hajia Salamatu Garba of WOFAN. It is interesting to see that work takes place on various levels: grass-root level, Local Governments, and Governments of some of the States, with cooperation of the First Ladies. See some paper clippings.
